It is with sadness that I'm posting this message about the death, earlier this week, of Ron Penn.
He worked for many years at the Ford studio in Dunton, England. He also did a short stint as a contract modeller and will be remembered for his energy and forthright personality, his attention to detail in his modelmaking was amongst the best I've ever seen.

I'll miss hearing him pull up outside the studio on his Fireblade. (Even at his age of 68 he rode it like a nutty teenager.) His funeral is at Pitsea New cemetery, 12 midday on the 4th March, he will be sadly missed by all his friends at Dunton.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed and attended my dads funeral on Tuesday, I, my mum and Ashley were overwhelmed by the fantastic attendance of friends past and present, although I never got to speak to you all I would personally like to thank you all for your kind words and flowers, I know my dad would of been thrilled to see you all together saying goodbye.

Although an emotional day it was so lovely to see he was so well liked in his workplace the kind contribution will be put towards his headstone marked by friends and family.

Thanks again for everything

Kind Regards

Janet Spence (Ron's daughter)
