Red Nose Day UK March 11th 2005
The British public pledged more than £37 million during the televised Red Nose Day fundraising event
this year. Viewers watching the night of comedy on BBC1 had donated £37,809,564 by 2am for good
causes in the UK and Africa. People all over Britain are encouraged to raise money on this day by
staging crazy stunts and wearing plastic red noses, thousands of people get involved.
